The DF1 Router in Transparent mode mimics the 1761-NET-ENI and therefore any setup instructions for the 1761-NET-ENI can be followed.
You will need an existing cable with the mini Din 8 connector. Examples include the 1761-CBL-AM00 and 1761-CBL-AP00. Cut the cable and wire as shown in the figure below. Note colors in drawing will not match the colors of the wires found in cables.
